Hello everyone.  My name is Ikea Alexis. I’m a 20-something, Michigan native who resides in Detroit, MI. I graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio, with a BS in Community Health.  I’m a lover of Jesus, beauty enthusiast, fashionista, and world-traveler. Really, I’m a lover of all things fabulous!  I created Grace and Glitz to share my life, beauty and fashion tips, and to encourage others.  I came up with the name ‘Grace and Glitz’ because I wanted to demonstrate that young adults can have a passion for Christ (Grace), while still having fun and enjoying the finer things in life (Glitz).  Grace and Glitz is all about my navigation through this thing called life, while using my voice to empower others to be exactly who they are.
