Another day another skincare post. I love it. A few weeks ago I was sent some products from a black owned brand by the name of Rosen Skincare. I wanted to share and review them for y’all. First things first the packaging is everything. I’m a sucker for beautiful packaging and Rosen didn’t disappoint. It’s simple and sleek. Rosen sent me their Fade Routine Max kit. The kit includes a cleanser, toner, vitamin c serum, clay mask, enzyme scrub, and spot treatment. This routine is meant to improve scarring and dark circles. I didn’t get a chance to try the serum just yet, but so far my favorite product has been the toner. It’s a hydration toner and it does just that. It contains pineapple extract and hyaluronic acid. My skin loves hydrating toners vs witch hazel.

I also like their clay mask. It does a great job removing dirt deep within my pores. But, I will caution you…it is very hard to remove. Compared to other charcoal clay masks that I own this one was a struggle washing off. Once it was all removed I did enjoy the results. Overall the products worked well on my skin. I didn’t have any breakouts, irritation, or dryness. I’m excited to try their vitamin c serum and I’ve also purchased more products from them. I’ve been supporting more black owned skincare brands and it’s a plus to find a brands whose products work. Do you have any black owned skincare brands that you love?
