Hey loves. Hope you’re having a great day. Today I want to share my favorite face masks with y’all. I receive a lot of skin care questions on Instagram, so I thought it would be nice to talk about one of my favorite type of skin care products, which is face masks. I’m obsessed with face masks. I love the feeling that I get from using them. I feel like I’m in my own little spa. I also love the results that I get as well. I use face masks for different occasions, but I’ll share a few of my favorites. (Click on the image and it will direct you to the exact link for each product)
Origins Skin Retexturizing Mask: This is my all time favorite mask. I started using it last winter, and I’m obsessed. I noticed that I started having a lot of problems with my face texture, especially under my eye area. I didn’t know how to alleviate the problem, so I went to my local Sephora. The sales associate recommended that I try this mask, so I decided to grab a sample (I love trying samples of products before I purchase the full container). I immediately used the mask and fell in love. I noticed that it helped with my texture right away. After about a month or so, I actually noticed that the weird texture under my eye area was gone. I know that sounds crazy, but I’m for real y’all. This mask is a game changer. I’ve recommended it to so many people, and I haven’t heard a single bad thing about it. This mask can be purchased at Sephora for $27.
Tatcha Violet-C Radiance Mask: I love to use this mask during the winter, because it’s a great hydration mask. I see Tatcha products all on social media, and I don’t typically fall into the hype of these types of products, but I will say that this mask really does a great job at keeping my skin hydrated. Like I previously mentioned, I typically use this in the winter when my skin needs some extra TLC, or I’ll use this when my face is really dry from an acne treatment. It’s great at adding extra moisture to your skin, and I love that it has Vitamin C as an ingredient. This can also be purchased at Sephora for $68.
Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask: This mask is great when you feel like your pores are clogged, or when you want to remove gunk and dead skin. This mask is great at deeply cleaning the skin, and especially clearing the pores. Clogged pores is the number one cause of acne, so I love to use this mask whenever I’ve applied a ton of makeup. I typically use a lot of makeup when I create YouTube videos, so this is the perfect mask to apply after filming. I like to use this mask at night to ensure that my skin is nice and clean the next day. This mask is sold at Sephora for $27 (full size) and $10 (travel size).
Karuna Clarifying + Sheet Mask: This is the perfect mask to use on those days that your skin wants to act up and break out. I love the fact that it’s a sheet mask, so you can use it almost anywhere. I also love the fact that it’s really lightweight. The product isn’t too heavy on my skin, and it calms my irritated areas during a break out. I suffer from hyper-pigmentation, so I love that this mask helps to reduce my dark spots as well. This mask can be purchased at Sephora for $8.
Dr. Jart Water Replenishment Sheet Mask: I feel like I can’t mention face masks without mentioning a Dr. Jart product. I honestly think that Dr. Jart is the face mask guru. There are so many masks from this brand and I feel like they really cater to every skin type. I like many of the masks from Dr. Jart, but my favorite is the Water Replenish Sheet Mask. I love it so much. I don’t know what it is about water products (I’m a huge fan of the Dr. Jart Water Eye Gel and the Tatcha Water Cream…obsessed), but I’m hooked. I love that it’s hydrating and it literally feels like nothing. I’m serious, it feels like I just splashed water all over my face. That’s how light it is. The thing that I appreciate the most about this mask is that although it is extremely lightweight, I still see results. I love to use this mask during the summer when I want extra hydration but nothing too overboard. I also like to use this as a substitute for my Tatcha Violet-C mask. They are both great products, and can get the job done in the hydration department, but this mask is a lot cheaper. This mask is sold at Sephora for $7.50.
I’m a huge lover of beauty products, but I think that skin care is definitely my favorite. I try to focus on skin care, because we only get one face and I want to make sure that mine is as healthy as possible. I hope that these masks will be helpful for you and that you’ll consider checking them out. Have a fantastic day and weekend.
