FAKE IT TILL YOU MAKE IT

Hey, loves.  Happy Wednesday!
I hope you all are enjoying this Hump Day.  It’s actually been a pretty easy day for me.  Work isn’t too overwhelming today (thank God).  I wanted to talk to ya’ll about faking it today.  We all go through different situations in life (some may be challenging).  Maybe we don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel, or know how to handle those situations. This is where faking it comes into play.  Have you ever heard of the quote “fake it till you make it?” Well I’m a huge believer in that quote.  I believe that sometimes, we have to “fake” it, to be more confident.  Maybe we don’t have the dream job that we want, or the amount of money that we desire, but we can fake it until we do.  Now I’m not talking about pretending to be something that you are not. I’m saying that we should walk into every situation with  a positive attitude.  We may not have our dream job just yet, but we can dress for it.  Maybe you’re not making that salary that you’d like to make right now, but you can claim it and speak it into the world. The point is that we sometimes have to fake it in order to simply get by.  Even if you’re having a bad day, throw some makeup on and try to smile.  It will make you feel a whole lot better.  Sometimes faking it turns into reality.  If we think positively about every situation in life, positive things will happen to us.  Faking it can be a hard thing to do when we are constantly reminded of our problems.  I know that it is definitely hard for me to fake it at times.  Some days I wake up and dread going to work, but I’m learning to fake it.  I’ve challenged myself the think more positively.  I try to dress in my Sundays Best everyday, because it helps me feel better.  What I’ve found is that by the end of that day, I actually do feel a whole lot better. I challenge you all to do the same.  If you woke up on the wrong side of the bed, pretend that it was the right side.  Smile even when you’re sad.  Dress nice, even when you feel crappy.  Be positive and have the best attitude, and I promise that things will definitely turn around.  Have an awesome week, loves.
