How’s your day going? It’s been a long day for me, but that’s okay, because I’m reminiscing on my weekend trip and looking forward to celebrating the Fourth of July soon.  This past weekend, I went on a girls trip to Fredricksburg, TX with my best friends. It was my first time visiting, so I was really excited to check out the wineries and taste the wine.  I’m a wine lover, and I love to try new wines whenever I can.  I don’t really see my best friends often, because we live in different cities, so it was nice to spend the weekend laughing, drinking wine, and having a great time. We all met in Austin, TX where we ended up staying for the night.  After meeting in Austin, we drove about an hour away to Fredricksburg.  We got there a little late (because we’re always late), but we were able to taste the wine at Messina Hof Winery and Wedding Oak.  We each paid about $10-12 to try five different wines at each location.  I’m a red wine gal, so the Primitivo was my fave. Everyone was so informative and helpful with the wine tastings, and we really enjoyed ourselves.  We also had a chance to walk around and visit the shops.  After leaving Fredricksburg, we headed back to Austin and were lit the entire night (jk..we fell asleep, because we couldn’t hang).  I’m sad that we didn’t get to try other wineries, but we are already planning our next trip.  If you live in Texas; I suggest visiting Fredricksburg.  It’s a small town in Texas that has a lot to offer.  Well I hope you all check it out, and enjoy the rest of your day.
