HOLY GRAIL EYESHADOW PALETTES
I often get asked about my favorite eyeshadow palettes. I own a lot of makeup, and eyeshadow palettes are my favorite, but there are two palettes that came out in 2016 that I can’t live without.
The Modern Renaissance and Master Palette by Mario have been two holy grail items of mine, and I honestly don’t know what I was using prior to purchasing them. I’ll admit that I wasn’t a fan of the two for quite some time, and it took me a while to purchase them, but I’m so glad I gave in.
The Modern Renaissance palette is so beautiful. There’s a lot of gorgeous colors for the fall that I enjoy. I’m a fan of neutral colors, and I always look for the basic crease color in every palette that I purchase, so I love how there are lots of neutrals as well as crease colors to choose from. I also love how the palette contains pops of pink, which you can use to create fun and flirty looks.
The Master Palette by Mario is the one palette that took me by surprise. I saw so many reviews on the palette, and I just thought that it looked like all of the other eyeshadow palettes that I owned, so I had no intentions of purchasing it. I was in Sephora one day (I’m in Sephora almost every day) and my eyes gravitated towards this palette. I hadn’t seen the palette in person, just on social media, but when I saw it with my own eyes; it was love at first sight. I just had to swatch it! The colors were so pigmented, and buttery (Yes! Buttery lol!). I convinced myself right then and there that I NEEDED that palette. I went to the Sephora counter, made my purchase, and never looked back. The Master Palette by Mario is the one palette that I use every single day, and I also travel with it. Unfortunately, the Master Palette by Mario was a limited edition, but the Modern Renaissance is a permanent item, and it can be purchased anytime 🙂
Here’s a few looks that I’ve created with the two palettes:
